Free/Pre-Registration Required: Ways to add simple and cheap (whoo-hoo) items to your class to encourage creativity. Participants in this workshop learn all the tips and tricks to enhance areas of their classroom without spending their own cash. We also examine three different explorations as a group, breaking down the cost. This action-packed workshop is a mixture of lecture, discussion, and gameshow ...yes, gameshow!

Nature-Based Child Care Program Tours [Sold Out]
Saturday, Oct. 12, 1-4:45 p.m.
The 2024 WECA Annual Conference will include a Nature-Based Learning Track in which participants can choose from a variety of workshops related to nature-based education. Included in this track will be the opportunity to visit a few nature-based child care programs in the Madison area. You will explore the many ways natural environments can enhance learning experiences, foster creativity, and promote well-being. Join us as we rediscover the wonders of the natural world and its profound impact on early childhood education.

The tours will include a presentation on the bus and will be eligible for Registry Credit.

Participating in the tours requires pre-registration but is free of charge.
